It will be just bright colors and interesting shapes for a long time, and even later, how angry can you feel about something you've seen in your bedroom every day of your life? My grandchild (10 months now) loves the music to Law and Order, although the Matlock theme song is even more appealing. The occasional splash of blood doesn't bother him a bit -- in fact, I don't think he sees *objects* in the TV screen at all yet. I wouldn’t worry about how the Miro looks to adults.
