Hail Social to play at Great Scott

OK, kids. The time has come for you all to see what the fuss is about. Hail Social are coming back to town and will be opening for Army of Me on Tuesday, May 9th at Great Scott in Allston. Tuesday night or no I plan to be there. I’d love some company. More about the last time I saw them here.

    Wow, I wonder if that’s the same “Army of Me” or if two bands could have, bewilderingly, named themselves after a Bjork single?
    Assuming it’s the same band (a quick Google suggests it is) I played with them a few times when they were still known as Cactus Patch. Unfortunately, Tuesdays are tough … rehearsal night.

    I guess they were right–they really do have bad luck in Boston! Would be curious to hear what you know about Army of Me’s music.

    The Army of Me that played last night said they were from D.C., upping the odds that it is the same band.

    They sounded kinda Green Day to me. Was not a fan.
