Please take this in the spirit in which it was intended, from someone who loves you and adores just about every single fantastic pair of eyeboggling socks you own, but, I gotta say, clown-like-ness is in the eye of the beholder. I don't like the striped socks that have every basic bright color--yellow, red, green, purple, blue, orange... all in equally sized stripes and with individually knit toes. Uck! I don't like those at all. What is that--Mork from Ork? I don't know. As for ponchos... I don't really have a problem with them. I guess I've just seen them done badly.
