Some photos from last night

Here are a few pictures we managed to get at the show last night. We were closest to Daniel, so the shots of him tended to come out better.

Here’s me at the afterparty at Middlesex talking to Gail. Note Daniel in the background getting chatted up by some girlie. It was like that all night.

And here are the photos Ez took of me and Daniel at the end of the night. Note how totally goofy I look. What can I say, I was psyched.

    Interpol update

I will wind down this evening of updates with a link to Terri’s tales of…

Thanks for the great show reviews, Terri — I’ve enjoyed all of them. Your close encounters with the band also brought back slightly squirm-inducing but mostly pleasant memories of meeting some of my all-time rock-god(dess) heroes. Sounds like it was well worth staying up late for!

Glad someone is enjoying reading all of this! :) Now I’m interested to hear about your close encounters, too.

Tee hee! I shared the pics with Traci & Vienna to prove that you met him :)

    Happy goofy… it’s happy goofy. I hope.

okay, just curious: what kind of noticable mistakes did interpol make? it’s comparitively rare that i hear obvious mistakes from, you know, real touring bands, and it always fascinates me.

Nothing horrendous… They didn’t have to stop a song or anything, but I felt like there were several flubbed chords, especially early in the show. Both Paul and Daniel seemed to be retuning their guitars a bit, so maybe that was it? Or maybe they were doing that to save face. Heh heh. I think I noticed the errors because usually they play quite cleanly. When I saw them in Providence, I’m pretty sure somebody goofed and they skipped a little section of “Narc,” but that’s probably the biggest booboo I’ve heard them commit.
